BioHello. I am Sparrow.
If you're here, then you probably want to know something about me, right? Right. I'm 21, I'm a girl, I'm Canadian, and I'm a bird in mind and spirit. ♥ I am owned by a gorgeous little girl-kitty named Xira. I like puns and video games and mind-stimulating topics for conversation. I collect umbrellas and Ace of spade cards and dice. My blood type is A+ and I am a semi-regular blood donor. I love to sleep and eat, especially if eating involves eating gyouza. Mmm. I'm in University, with a Biology major and a Linguistics minor.
I listen to lots of genres of music, in various languages. Currently, my top favourite bands are Kagrra,, Shrine, and THE VELVET (all Japanese) but by no means am I limited to these three, as lovely as they are. I have English, Japanese, German, Russian, Hindi, Latin, Finnish, and Korean music too, and am open to music in any other language out there. Perhaps you want to know some more bands I like?

That about sums it up for music, I guess. How about movies? Now, I'll admit I'm not a big television or movie person, for various reasons. But a few movies I've seen have really interested me!
Movies: Boys Don't Cry, Donnie Darko, Dragonheart, Dragonheart A New Beginning, Eight Legged Freaks, Fanaa, Saw, Saw II, Taking Lives, The Lion King, The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride
Books. Oooh, I love to read~ I used to be a major Fantasy junkie, but now I read more mystery, thriller, and suspense novels. I do still love a touch of Fantasy though! Especially the Xanth series by Piers Anthony. I only have to buy one more book (The Dastard) in order to have the whole series. ♥ I have read many many many books, the following are just a few that really stood out to me. Aside from Xanth, which is a whole class of its own.
Books: Bridge of Birds, Brother Odd, Chthon, Dracula, Dust to Dust, E.T., Flowers in the Attic, For Destiny or Desire, Mute, Serpent's Eye, The Fourth Procedure, The Giver, The Hobbit, The Neverending Story, The Night Before, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Violets are Blue
And of course, we can't forget video games. I'm a dork, I know. But video games are my favourite pastime, and there's no denying it. I could go on and on and on about my favourite games, but I'll keep that limited to a select few. My favourite video game type is RPG though, and I've played a good many if not most of the main ones. I also really like old classics, like Pac-Man and Pong!
Games: Aidyn Chronicles, Arc the Lad, Dragon Warrior/Dragon Quest, Kirby, Mystical Ninja/Ganbare Goemon, Neverwinter Nights, Pokemon, Quest 64, Super Mario, Spyro, Wario Land.
